Ian Boyne is Dead

With great grief it was announced this morning that veteran journalist and Deputy CEO of the Jamaica Information Service, Ian Boyne has died. Boyne passed away at the University Hospital of the West Indies this morning after being admitted to hospital in serious condition for an undisclosed illness earlier this month. Jamaica set to host FIFA Executive Summit

IFA has launched a second round of summits.Each summit will bring together presidents and secretary generals of around 20 member associations. The series started on 21 November in Baku, Azerbaijan and will run until March 2018 with the last gathering in Lima, Peru. An eight-foot bronze statue of Usain Bolt was unveiled at Jamaica National Stadium in Kingston on Sunday (3). The statue of the sprint legend, sculpted by Basil Watson, shows Bolt in his trademark “to the world™” stance.
