Half Way Tree Bus Driver On Sexual Assault Charge
A bus driver that operates in the Half Way Tree area appeared before the Spanish Town RM court on charges of sexual assault today. The accused, Bent, is said to have recorded his sexual activities with the complainant and as such prevented her from going to the police earlier.
It is alleged however, that the plaintiff was in fact intimate with the bus driver for a period of time and did not report that she was raped until four months after the incident is said to have taken place. The Communication Forensic and Cybercrimes Unit of the Constabulary Force reported that when the phone in question was searched there was no sim card, memory card or videos on the phone to suggest that the plaintiff was being Blackmailed.
Further investigations are being done but things look bad for the accused as this would have been his second incident like this. The accused has been charged before due to a similar offence and is currently on a $350,000 bail.
