Hanover: Shopkeeper Sentenced To 2yrs For Sexually Assaulting 7yro

A 55yro shopkeeper has been sentenced to two years for sexually assaulting a seven-year-old girl.
Elvis Hall, otherwise called Zello of Sandy Bay, Hanover, was sentenced by Senior Parish Court Judge Sheron Barnes in the Hanover Parish Court on one count of grievous sexual assault.
His attorney has made it known that they will appeal this verdict.
The prosecution led evidence that in April 2014 Hall lured the seven-year-old girl to the back of his shop where he sexually assaulted her and then gave her $30 and told her not to tell anyone.
When the child went home her mother noticed that something was wrong and contacted the police.
The man was arrested and charged.
