Two Teenagers Dead In Westmoreland Crash

Two persons died as a result of injuries they sustained when the motor vehicle, in which they were being transported from a party, overturned in Westmoreland early Sunday morning, July 10.



The deceased, both of King’s Valley district, Grange Hill addresses in the western parish, have been identified as 19-year-old Sheldon Campbell and Paul Bowen.


Meanwhile, a 15-year-old, who was also an occupant of the vehicle, managed to escape with minor injuries.

Reports are that about 4 am a grey Nissan motor car, driven by Campbell overturned along the Top Road, Little London main road in Westmoreland after hitting into a garbage drum, then a tree, before riding an embankment.





The three occupants of the motor vehicle were taken to hospital where Campbell and Bowen succumbed to their injuries, while, the 15-year-old, who was a back seat passenger was treated for minor injuries and released.





The police have cited speeding as the cause of the accident.
